Second test blog post
February 12, 2021There is a plant that is extremely rare and only mentioned with Bret trepidation by cryptobotanists. It’s not much to look at, being rather easily camouflaged amongst other more dramatic fauna. But it exudes a fragrance that’s beyond description. This is be abuse it plays on an olfactory peculiarity of the human mind. It smells like the thing that would trigger strong memories it is so intoxicating in fact that it lures people like a siren song close enough to be within range of its stingers, which fire off at the vibration of footsteps nearby. These have another neurotoxin in them that could kill the visitor immediately, whereupon the shallow roots of the plant lie in wait. When the corpse begins to decay and bacteria begin to bloom, when the juices of death begin to drain away from the corpse, the plant’s roots are there waiting, and they swarm over to and into the decaying flesh, draining it of nutrients and sending the plant into dormancy untilIt claims its next victim.
Here is some more text to complete the story. This is all just messing around trying to figure out how this works.
